Product Care

Please follow the instructions on caring for your boned bustier, corsets, under bust corsets.  Aku Mode does not refund machine washed and hand washed boned bustier.

All boned products need DRY CLEANING as washing will eventually weaken the bones; however it is not necessary to dry clean after every wear as this puts as much wear and tear on the bustier as actually wearing it.

To avoid distorting the bones please loosen the lacing suffiently to allow you to slip it on or off with ease.  Once fastened, pull the laces from the middle carefully to ensure an even take up on your body.

After wear, air your bustier to freshen it up.  If it is your first time of wearing a bustier, it may be advisable to seek assistant to ensure it is evenly laced.

Be sure to close all fastening, to prevent hooks from snagging on delicate fabric or trim.

DO NOT machine wash boned products as the boning will distort and warp over time.  If necessary, gentle steam the bustier / corset to remove wrinkles.
The bustier / corset must be stored flat, not twisted up, to avoid deformation of boning.

All detachable accessories must be removed before wash.
